What is a CBD vape?
CBD vaping means using a device — a vape pen, pod device or e-cigarette — to inhale vaporised CBD. The device heats a purpose-made e-liquid with an atomiser, turning it into a vapour you inhale. CBD vape e-liquid is typically made of CBD, vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG) and flavourings — and nothing that isn’t intended for inhalation.
Why you must never vape CBD oil
CBD oil tinctures are designed to be taken under the tongue. They’re made with carrier oils such as coconut (MCT) or hemp seed oil — and inhaling heated oils of that kind can seriously irritate the lungs (it’s been linked to a condition called lipoid pneumonia). The rule is simple: if the label doesn’t say it’s a vape e-liquid, don’t put it in a vape. Our CBD e-liquids are developed specifically for vaping.
Is vaping CBD legal in Ireland?
Yes. CBD vape products are legal in Ireland provided they meet the rules — ours are nicotine-free and THC-free, and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland recommends staying within 70mg of CBD per day across all your CBD products.
